Subscription & Billing Terms

1. Subscription

XCInsight PRO is a recurring digital-service subscription. The selected monthly or yearly price, billing period and currency are shown before you submit the order.

The subscription renews automatically for the same billing period until cancelled, unless the checkout states otherwise.

2. Payment provider

Payments are processed using Stripe-hosted Checkout. XCInsight does not store your full card number or CVC. Stripe may perform fraud-prevention and payment-compliance checks under its applicable terms.

3. Activation

PRO is activated after Stripe confirms the relevant subscription/payment event. A browser success page alone is not proof of payment.

4. Immediate start

During checkout we ask you to expressly request that PRO begins immediately, before the statutory withdrawal period expires. This lets you use the paid service without waiting 14 days.

For service contracts, statutory withdrawal rights and any proportionate payment for service supplied before withdrawal are handled according to applicable consumer law. Cancellation of future renewal is separate from statutory withdrawal.

5. Fourteen-day withdrawal

Where EU/EEA consumer law applies, a consumer generally has 14 days from conclusion of a distance service contract to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to statutory conditions and exceptions.

You can use the clearly displayed online withdrawal function in XCInsight or send an unequivocal statement to the operator. We provide electronic confirmation when the online function is used.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel recurring renewal through the Stripe Customer Portal available from the Plan page. Unless applicable law or a refund decision requires otherwise, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the already-paid billing period.

Cancellation stops future renewal; it is not automatically the same as exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe can retry it and the subscription may become past_due, unpaid or cancelled. PRO access can be limited when the subscription is no longer in an active status.

8. Prices and taxes

The checkout shows the price payable before purchase. Taxes are handled according to applicable law and the operator's tax status. Cross-border digital-service VAT rules may depend on the customer's country and applicable thresholds or schemes.

9. Refunds and mandatory remedies

Refunds required by mandatory consumer law are not restricted by these Terms. Outside mandatory rights, payments for an already-started billing period are generally non-refundable unless we expressly agree otherwise.

10. Price changes

We may change PRO prices prospectively. Existing recurring subscribers will receive advance notice where required and will not be charged a new price without the legally required notice or consent.

11. Confirmation and records

We maintain records of the plan selected, legal versions accepted and checkout-specific acknowledgements to evidence the contract and comply with consumer-law obligations.
